**Andhra Pradesh Seeks Nominees for State Best Teacher Awards 2025**

Vijayawada, August 1, 2025 – The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh announced today the commencement of the selection process for the prestigious State Best Teacher Awards – 2025. The awards recognize outstanding educators in government-run and aided schools across the state.

Director of School Education V. Vijay Rama Raju stated that detailed guidelines and timelines have been distributed to key educational administrators, including Regional Joint Directors, District Educational Officers, and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha, to ensure a transparent and efficient selection process.

Teachers with a minimum of 10 years of service in government and aided schools (excluding those under private management) are eligible to apply. The selection process will involve three distinct categories:

* **Self-Nomination:** Teachers can nominate themselves highlighting their contributions to education.
* **Peer Recommendation:** Teachers can be nominated by five of their colleagues, emphasizing teamwork and collaborative impact.
* **LEAP App Performance:** Performance-based recognition will be given through the LEAP app, acknowledging teachers who demonstrate innovative and effective teaching practices.

The deadline for submitting applications to Divisional Deputy Educational Officers is August 8, 2025. The School Education Department encourages all eligible and deserving teachers to apply and contribute to the state’s commitment to educational excellence.
