**NEW YORK, NY – July 22, 2025** – Netflix brought together the worlds of Hollywood and professional golf Monday night for the premiere of the highly anticipated “Happy Gilmore 2” at Lincoln Center. The red carpet was packed with A-list celebrities, cast members, and a surprising number of PGA TOUR stars, all celebrating Adam Sandler’s return to the iconic role that solidified his comedic legacy.

Fresh off his Open Championship victory, Scottie Scheffler attended, remarking on the film’s enduring impact on golf culture, “Everybody knows what the Happy Gilmore swing is… It’s a part of golf culture for sure.”
