Wed Jul 23 19:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Hans Zimmer Joins Labrinth to Score Final Season of “Euphoria”

**Hollywood, CA** – Emmy-winning HBO drama series “Euphoria” is upping the ante for its highly anticipated third and final season with the addition of legendary composer Hans Zimmer. The Oscar-winning composer of scores like “Interstellar” and “The Lion King” will be collaborating with Labrinth, the British musician who crafted the distinctive soundscape for the show’s first two seasons.

The announcement comes as production is underway for the eight-episode season, which will feature a time jump moving the characters beyond their high school years. Creator Sam Levinson reportedly wrote the season while listening to Zimmer’s scores for “Interstellar” and “True Romance,” making the collaboration a natural fit.

Zendaya will return as Rue Bennett, alongside familiar faces like Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer. Colman Domingo will be back as a guest star, and Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry have been promoted to series regulars. Season three will also see the arrival of new cast members including Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, and Sharon Stone. However, Barbie Ferreira will not be returning.

“It’s an honor to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson,” Zimmer said. “Labrinth’s music has shaped the show’s identity and I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.”

Labrinth echoed the sentiment, stating, “Another chapter in the Euphoria universe. So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season.”

Levinson added, “It’s a true honor to be working alongside Hans. I wrote this season to the score of Interstellar and True Romance. So he’s been ingrained in the creative DNA since the beginning. I’m really proud of the work Labrinth and I have done in previous seasons and am excited for Hans to push us to new heights.”

The A24-produced series, based on the Israeli show of the same name, is written, directed, and executive produced by Levinson. No release date has been announced for the final season.
