**Nottingham, July 18, 2025 (IST)** – Indian opener Smriti Mandhana continues to redefine women’s cricket, solidifying her position as a legend of the game with a string of remarkable achievements.
Mandhana is currently India’s highest run-scorer in Women’s Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), having amassed an impressive 3982 runs at an average of 29.93 across 153 matches since her debut in 2013.
Adding to her accolades, Mandhana now holds the record for the most scores of fifty or more in Women’s T20Is, surpassing New Zealand’s Suzie Bates with over 29 such scores.
She also leads the pack among Indian women cricketers with the most centuries in Women’s One Day Internationals (ODIs), boasting ten centuries. Globally, she trails only Tammy Beaumont (11), Meg Lanning (15), and Suzie Bates (13).
Notably, Mandhana stands alone as the only Indian woman batter to have scored centuries in all three international cricket formats (Tests, ODIs, and T20Is).
Earlier this June, Mandhana etched her name further into the record books by scoring a blistering 112 runs against England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, marking the highest individual score by any Indian woman in T20Is.
Moreover, she also holds the record for the most hundreds in a calendar year in women’s ODIs. Last year’s phenomenal performance, including four centuries, surpassed the previous record of three jointly held by Belinda Clark, Meg Lanning, Amy Sattherthwaite, Sophie Devine and Sidra Amin, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews, and Laura Wolvaardt.
These achievements highlight Smriti Mandhana’s immense talent, consistency, and dedication, further cementing her legacy as one of the greatest women cricketers India has ever produced.
