**NEW YORK, NY -** Actors Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have revealed a key element to their successful 18-year marriage: completely separate finances. The couple shared their financial strategy during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”

Romijn, 52, explained that keeping their money separate was one of the first conversations they had when deciding to enter into a legal agreement together. When host Andy Cohen joked about O’Connell’s finances after his departure from “The Talk,” Romijn clarified she wouldn’t know the details of his personal finances.

While they maintain separate accounts, the couple does have a joint fund for family expenses related to their 16-year-old twin daughters.
