**[City, State] –** Former President Donald Trump is vehemently denying authorship of a salacious birthday letter allegedly written to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2003. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) published a report claiming the letter, found in a collection gifted to Epstein, bears Trump’s signature. The letter includes a drawing of a woman’s breasts, is signed “Donald,” and ends with the phrase: “Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump has denounced the letter as a “FAKE” and threatened to sue the WSJ and its owner, Rupert Murdoch. In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, “These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.”

Amidst the controversy, Trump announced he had asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to request the unsealing of all grand jury testimony in the Epstein case, characterizing the situation as a “SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats.” Bondi has since confirmed that the Justice Department plans to request the release of the transcripts in court.

The alleged letter has reignited scrutiny of Trump’s past relationship with Epstein. Trump has previously acknowledged knowing Epstein since the 1980s, even stating that he knew him “like everybody in Palm Beach knew him” and describing him as a “fixture.” The two were seen socializing at high-profile events throughout the 1990s, and flight logs presented during Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial revealed Trump flew on Epstein’s private jets multiple times.

While Trump was mentioned in court documents released earlier this year identifying Epstein’s associates, he has not been accused of any wrongdoing. Virginia Giuffre, who accused Epstein of sexual abuse, testified that she was recruited by Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s estate, to become Epstein’s masseuse.

The relationship between Trump and Epstein reportedly soured in 2004 over a real estate deal. Despite their past association, Trump claimed in 2019 that he hadn’t spoken to Epstein in 15 years.
