**Body Identified as Missing American Tourist in Turks and Caicos**

**PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos –** The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) has confirmed that a body discovered on July 5th is that of Brian Tarrence, 51, of Monroe, New York, who went missing on June 25th while vacationing in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Tarrence was last seen leaving his condo at the Paradise Inn in Grace Bay around 3:30 a.m. He had arrived with his wife on June 22nd and was scheduled to return on June 29th.

According to a press release, the identification was made through forensic dental analysis. While an autopsy revealed no signs of trauma, the cause of death remains undetermined pending the results of toxicology reports. Authorities do not suspect foul play at this time.

Carl DeFazio, the Tarrence family’s private investigator, previously stated that the condo is located in a safe area. Security footage shows Tarrence walking into town before his disappearance. His belongings remained at the condo, and his wife was unaware he was missing until the following morning.

“The RT&CIPF extends our condolences to Mr. Tarrence’s family and friends during this difficult time,” police said in a statement. “We thank the public for their patience and support as we continue the investigation.”
