**Seattle Braces for Heat, Traffic Snarls on Wednesday**

**SEATTLE, WA – July 16, 2025** – Seattle residents are waking up to a heat advisory in effect until 10 PM this evening, with temperatures expected to climb into the upper 80s. The day began with sunrise at 5:29 AM and will conclude with sunset at 9:02 PM.

Commuters can expect Metro buses to be running on their regular schedules and routes. Washington State Ferries has resumed three-boat service on the Triangle Route, utilizing the M/V Kittitas, M/V Cathlamet, and M/V Issaquah. The Vessel Watch will track the vessels.
