Wed Jul 16 23:30:00 UTC 2025: **FOX NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Protest Organizer Claims He Rejected $20 Million Offer to Rally Against Trump**
**[City, State]** – Adam Swart, CEO of advocacy group Crowds on Demand, claims his organization turned down a lucrative offer, valued at approximately $20 million, to recruit protesters for a nationwide anti-Trump rally coinciding with the fifth anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s death.
In an interview with NewsNation, Swart said organizers associated with the “Good Trouble Lives On” movement, approached him. This group is planning protests nationwide on Thursday, billing itself as a peaceful and nonviolent organization dedicated to opposing what they call the “most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations” under President Trump.
Swart told Fox News that Crowds on Demand, which provides crowds for protests, rejected the offer, not on principle, but because he believes the planned protests will be “ineffective.”
The planned demonstrations, with a reported 1,500 events across the country, prompted a sharp response from the White House. Harrison Fields, Special Assistant to the President and Principal Deputy Press Secretary, stated to Fox News Digital: “President Trump’s America is so successful that blue-haired basement dwellers are paid to stage fake protests against the administration’s remarkable achievements. Paid agitators should find real jobs instead of selling out for gift cards and meager paychecks that aim to divide the nation and obstruct America’s greatest comeback. Nothing screams a party in disarray more than one that clearly lacks organic support and is forced to astroturf everything.”
The planned protests come amidst a backdrop of recent unrest, including violent riots in Los Angeles.
Fox News Digital has reached out to Swart for further comment.
