**Three Arrested in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri Murder Case; Affair Allegedly Sparked Conspiracy**

**HYDERABAD, July 15, 2025** – Three individuals, including the wife of the victim, have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man that occurred in Pallerla village, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district, on July 13th. Gunti Sai Kumar (33), Vasthapula Swathi (35), and Pottepaka Mahesh (33) are now in custody, while a fourth suspect, Cheemala Ramalinga Swamy (33), remains at large.

According to police reports, the murder was allegedly triggered by a complex web of relationships and alleged abuse. Swathi’s husband, who worked as a manager at a tractor showroom, was reportedly having an affair with Savitha, the wife of suspect Mahesh. This affair, coupled with alleged mental and physical harassment faced by Swathi after confronting her husband, is believed to have motivated the conspiracy.

Investigators state that Sai Kumar and Swathi had been acquainted since 2017. They reconnected in February of last year. Police believe Sai Kumar hired a car with the help of the absconding accused, Ramalinga Swamy. On the night of July 13th, they allegedly rammed the victim’s two-wheeler, which he was riding with a friend, Veerababu, near Katepally village. The impact dragged the bike for approximately 120 feet, resulting in the victim’s death. Veerababu sustained severe injuries and is currently hospitalized.

In addition to murder charges, authorities have invoked sections of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The arrested individuals were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody. The search for the remaining suspect is ongoing.
