**Téa Leoni and Tim Daly Secretly Tie the Knot in New York Ceremony**

**New York, NY – July 17, 2024** – “Madam Secretary” co-stars Téa Leoni and Tim Daly are officially married! The couple exchanged vows in a small, intimate ceremony in New York City on Saturday, July 12th, surrounded by their immediate family, Leoni’s representative confirmed to PEOPLE.

Daly, 69, and Leoni, 59, first connected on the set of their hit CBS political drama “Madam Secretary” in 2014, where they captivated audiences as husband and wife Elizabeth and Henry McCord for six seasons. The show aired from September 2014 to December 2019.

Their off-screen romance blossomed shortly after, with PEOPLE confirming their relationship in December 2014. The news followed Leoni’s divorce from actor David Duchovny in August 2014 after 17 years of marriage. Prior to their relationship going public, Leoni was spotted supporting Daly at his performance of “Red” at the Dorset Theatre in Vermont over the Fourth of July weekend.

Leoni and Daly made their red carpet debut as a couple at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April 2015. The couple was joined by veteran journalist Bob Schieffer and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright at the event.

Fellow “Madam Secretary” co-star Geoffrey Arend shared his surprise, and delight, at the blossoming relationship in 2015. “I heard a rumor about it, and everyone was like, ‘No, no way!’ And I’m like, ‘Maybe,” he told PEOPLE, adding, “He couldn’t be a nicer guy. Tim’s the best — they’re really good together.”

Details about the wedding ceremony remain scarce, but sources say the couple was beaming with joy as they celebrated their love with their closest family members.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
