**T20 Tri-Series Kicks Off in Harare: Zimbabwe, South Africa, and New Zealand Clash**

Harare, Zimbabwe – The Zimbabwe T20 Tri-Series, featuring the host nation, South Africa, and New Zealand, begins today at the Harare Sports Club. This unique format will see each team play each other twice in the group stage, culminating in a final on July 26th between the top two teams.

Zimbabwe, captained by veteran all-rounder Sikandar Raza, is hoping to make strides against higher-ranked opposition. The squad welcomes back key players like Richard Ngarava and Brian Bennett.

South Africa, led by Rassie van der Dussen, has brought a youthful squad to Zimbabwe. The Proteas roster includes uncapped players such as Lhuan-dre Pretorius, hinting at a focus on building towards the next T20 World Cup.

New Zealand, under the leadership of Mitchell Santner and new coach Rob Walter, boasts a strong, experienced squad. Some last-minute additions were made to the squad for additional cover for some players featuring in the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025 final in the United States.

While New Zealand enters the series as favorites, South Africa’s young talent could provide some surprises.
