**New Docuseries to Re-Examine 1995 Disappearance of Iowa News Anchor Jodi Huisentruit**

**NEW YORK, NY – July 5, 2024** – A new ABC News Studios docuseries, “Her Last Broadcast: The Abduction of Jodi Huisentruit,” premiering July 15 on Hulu, will delve into the unsolved mystery surrounding the 1995 disappearance of Iowa news anchor Jodi Huisentruit. The three-part series marks the 30th anniversary of Huisentruit’s vanishing from Mason City, Iowa, on her way to work at KIMT-TV.

“Her Last Broadcast” promises to offer a fresh perspective on the case, featuring over 20 new interviews with family members, detectives, witnesses, and friends of Huisentruit. The series also includes never-before-seen material and new information uncovered during the investigation.

The docuseries explores the initial investigation, which didn’t immediately suspect foul play, until evidence at the scene suggested an abduction. Despite decades of investigation, including GPS trackers placed on a person of interest’s vehicles and a new witness coming forward in 2022 after a “20/20” episode, Huisentruit’s body has never been found, and no one has been charged in connection with her disappearance.

The case continues to haunt Mason City, Iowa. “Her Last Broadcast” seeks to bring renewed attention to the case and uncover new leads. As the anniversary approached, “Find Jodi”, an online group dedicated to solving the case, issued a statement urging those responsible to come forward and provide answers for Huisentruit’s family and friends.
