Sun Jul 13 11:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Lila Moss Flaunts Glucose Monitor, Continues Advocacy for Type 1 Diabetes

**Ibiza, Spain -** Lila Moss, 22-year-old model and daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, was spotted enjoying a sunny beach day in Ibiza with her mother. While relaxing poolside, Lila’s Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) were visible on her arms, a subtle yet powerful statement of her ongoing advocacy for Type 1 diabetes (T1D) awareness.

The outing comes shortly after Lila received a one-of-a-kind Barbie doll created in her likeness, complete with visible T1D devices. The doll, part of a Mattel U.K. campaign, features a CGM on her arm, an insulin pump pod on her leg, and a device in her purse for monitoring levels.

Lila has been vocal about her experience with T1D and the importance of representation. “I am proud to use my platform to educate around Type 1 diabetes and show that being different is cool,” she stated in a press release for Mattel U.K.’s campaign. “Receiving messages from people who see my patches and feel represented means everything to me. To be able to now see Barbie dolls with T1D, and to receive a Barbie doll that visibly looks like me, even wearing her patches, is both surreal and special.”

Mattel U.K. is also partnering with Breakthrough T1D, donating £20,000 to support research, education, and support for T1 diabetes.

During their vacation, Kate Moss, 51, wore a leopard-print bikini, while Lila sported a black two-piece.
