Tue Jul 08 08:40:00 UTC 2025: **WWE Raw Recap: Rollins Wins Controversially, Knight Attacks, and Evolution Hype Falls Short**

Providence, RI – July 7, 2024 – WWE Raw aired live on Netflix Monday night, featuring a night of intense wrestling action ahead of this weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) and the Evolution premium live event.

The show opened with Seth Rollins and his new faction, featuring Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. Heyman declared the group was ready to dominate their enemies, starting with Rollins’ match against LA Knight at SNME.

In the women’s division, Kairi Sane defeated Roxanne Perez, seemingly securing a spot for a Kabuki Warriors reunion at Evolution against Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, fueled by the rivalry surrounding Liv Morgan’s injury. Later, Nikki Bella announced her entry into the Evolution Battle Royal for a title shot.

Sami Zayn was attacked backstage by Karrion Kross before his match against Bron Breakker. Despite the attack, Zayn insisted on competing but fell to Breakker’s devastating spear. Elsewhere, Becky Lynch was confronted by her Evolution challengers, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, with Valkyria standing tall after a brawl.

Bronson Reed faced Jey Uso, ending in a disqualification after Reed used a steel chair on Uso, continuing the Rollins faction’s dominance. El Grande Americano, suspected to be Ludwig Kaiser in disguise, defeated Dragon Lee, adding a comedic element to the show. Goldberg made a surprise appearance, confronting Gunther and building anticipation for their upcoming match.

The main event saw Seth Rollins narrowly defeat Penta in a hard-fought battle, marked by controversial low blow. After the match, LA Knight blindsided Rollins, delivering his signature Blunt Force Trauma and sending a clear message ahead of their SNME showdown.

Despite the action-packed card, WWE Raw’s build-up to both Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution was considered lackluster by many, with the Rollins faction receiving too much screen time and Evolution being treated as an afterthought.
