**Dindigul:** The stage is set for a thrilling finale to the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2025 as IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans (ITT) lock horns with reigning champions Dindigul Dragons at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul today, July 6th.

ITT, spearheaded by R Sai Kishore, finished strong in the league stage, securing the second spot with five wins and two losses. After an initial stumble, they bounced back with an impressive five-match winning streak, culminating in a dominant 79-run victory over Chepauk Super Gillies in Qualifier 1.

Dindigul Dragons, led by veteran Ravichandran Ashwin, secured the third position after the league stage, with four wins and three losses. They navigated the Eliminator, defeating Trichy Grand Cholas by six wickets, and followed it up with a four-wicket win against Chepauk Super Gillies in Qualifier 2.

The two teams previously met in Coimbatore earlier this season, where Tiruppur Tamizhans emerged victorious by nine wickets, comfortably chasing a low total of 94.

The NPR College Ground has proven to be a competitive venue, with an average first innings score of 173 across the seven TNPL 2025 matches played there. While chasing teams have had a slight edge, winning four matches compared to three wins for teams batting first, the pitch offers a balanced contest between bat and ball. Teams winning the toss are expected to chase.

All eyes will be on ITT’s Tushar Raheja, who has been in exceptional form, currently holding the second position on the leading run-scorers list with 411 runs at an impressive average of 58.71 and a strike rate of 189.40. R Sai Kishore’s crucial bowling spells will also be vital for ITT’s chances.
