**CHENNAI, July 5, 2025** – Students at Kannagi Nagar Government Higher Secondary School are celebrating significant improvements to their learning environment, thanks to a collaborative CSR effort by Bounteous x Accolite and Ladies Circle India Trust. The second phase of the project was unveiled today, featuring a brand new science lab, a renovated principal’s office, a new staircase and refurbished girls’ toilets.

The highlight of the upgrades is the state-of-the-art science lab, equipped for hands-on learning, which was officially opened by former Chief Secretary Irai Anbu and Director of School Education S. Kannappan. Previously, students lacked access to lab equipment and dedicated space for experiments. “I have always seen a lab room but never really got to see experiments,” shared A. Bhuvaneshwari, a Class 10 student.
