**Drake Drops New Track “What Did I Miss?” Addressing Kendrick Lamar Beef and Loyalty**

**TORONTO, ON – July 17, 2025** – Drake has released a new solo single, “What Did I Miss?” via OVO Sound/Republic Records, directly addressing his recent and highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar. The track, produced by a team of nine producers including DJ Lewis, Elyas, FNZ, Gyz, London Cyr, O Lil Angel, Oz, Patron, and Tay Keith, sees the Toronto rapper reflecting on the impact of the beef and questioning the loyalty of those around him.

The song opens with Drake contemplating the aftermath of the conflict and its effect on his inner circle. “Askin’ me, ‘How did it feel?’ Can’t say it didn’t surprise me/Last time I looked to my right, you n****s was standing beside me/How can some people I love hang around pussies who try me?” he raps, setting a tone of betrayal and disillusionment.

Throughout the track, Drake subtly references specific moments from the feud, most notably Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” concert in Inglewood, California, which featured appearances from former Drake collaborators like YG, Mustard, and Ty Dolla $ign. Drake directly addresses this, rapping, “I saw bro went to Pop Out with them, but been dick-riding gang since ‘Headlines.’”

The beef between the two rap titans reignited earlier this year after Lamar fired shots at Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” The ensuing battle saw numerous diss tracks exchanged and alliances shift within the hip-hop community, with artists like The Weeknd and Rick Ross seemingly siding against Drake.

“What Did I Miss?” is a notable release, marking Drake’s first solo offering since the barrage of anti-Lamar diss tracks earlier this year. The release comes amidst Drake’s ongoing legal battle with Universal Music Group (UMG), whom he is suing for defamation, alleging the corporation orchestrated a smear campaign around Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

The song is now available on all major streaming platforms.
