Sat Jul 05 01:20:00 UTC 2025: **Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath to Reunite for Final Show, Livestream Available**
**BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND –** Music history will be made this Saturday, July 5th, as Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath reunite for a final performance at Villa Park in Birmingham, the band’s birthplace. Dubbed “Back to the Beginning,” the concert marks the first time the original lineup – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward – have performed together since 2005.
The daylong event will feature a star-studded lineup of heavy metal legends including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, and Slayer. Additional appearances are expected from artists such as Sammy Hagar, Billy Corgan, and Tom Morello, who is serving as the event’s music director.
“This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever,” Morello stated in February. Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife, revealed that the concert is a way for Ozzy to bid a proper farewell to fans.
Ozzy Osbourne’s health has been a challenge in recent years, including Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2019, and recent stem cell treatments following a vertebrae tumor discovery. Tony Iommi told Mojo that Osbourne may perform seated.
Fans unable to attend in person can stream the event via backtothebeginning.com. The stream will be delayed two hours from the live start time, beginning at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.
Proceeds from the concert and an online auction will benefit Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. Auction items include signed guitars, gold records, and travel packages.
The full lineup includes Tool, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Mastodon and Rival Sons, although the lineup is subject to change.
