**New Delhi, India -** Indian SUV giant Mahindra has officially launched its XUV 3XO compact SUV in the Australian market, making it the most affordable Mahindra SUV Down Under. While maintaining its popular design and feature-rich interior, the Australian version comes with a significantly lower price tag, sparking interest and comparison to its Indian counterpart.

The XUV 3XO will be available in Australia in two variants, AX5 L and AX7 L, priced at AUD 23,490 (approximately ₹13.18 Lakh). This represents a substantial price difference compared to the Indian market, where the XUV 3XO ranges from ₹9.37 Lakh to ₹18.75 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Mahindra already sells the XUV700, Scorpio N, and S11 4X4 Pikup in Australia.

While the exterior design and feature list, including the panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, dual 10.25-inch screens, and 360-degree camera, remain largely consistent with the Indian model, there are key differences in engine options. The Australian XUV 3XO will only be offered with the 1.2-litre MPFi turbo petrol engine, omitting both the more powerful 1.2-litre TGDi petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engines available in India. The AX7 L variant also foregoes the Stealth Black colour option.

The XUV 3XO will compete with established players like the Mazda CX-3, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Stonic in the Australian compact SUV segment. The move highlights Mahindra’s continued expansion into international markets and aims to offer a compelling value proposition for Australian consumers seeking a feature-packed and affordable SUV.
