**MIAMI, FL** – After a disappointing 4-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup, Inter Miami is set to resume its MLS campaign with a road match against CF Montreal this Saturday. This marks Miami’s first MLS game since May 31st, kicking off a demanding schedule of seven matches over the next 25 days.

Currently sitting in seventh place in the Eastern Conference after dropping from third due to their CWC participation, Inter Miami (8-3-5, 29 points) is eager to recapture its winning form. The team went 2-1-2 in their last five MLS matches before the CWC, including a recent victory against Montreal on May 28th.

“We have a lot of games coming up, plus all the ones we have already played, so we will need everyone to participate,” stated Miami coach Javier Mascherano, emphasizing the need for strategic roster management.

Captain Lionel Messi is expected to be available for the match, while midfielders Yannick Bright and David Ruiz, along with defender Gonzalo Lujan, will remain sidelined with injuries.

CF Montreal (3-12-5, 14 points), currently at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, looks to build on its recent 1-0 home victory against New York City FC. Midfielder Victor Loturi, who also scored against Miami in their previous encounter, will be a key player for Montreal. Despite struggling for consistent results throughout the season, Montreal is aiming to continue improving.
