**RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA** – Al-Nassr, the Saudi Arabian club home to Cristiano Ronaldo, are reportedly turning their attention to Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli after facing resistance in their pursuit of Liverpool’s Luis Diaz. GIVEMESPORT sources indicate that the Saudi side is eager to bolster its attack with a left-winger, striker, and holding midfielder this transfer window.

Al-Nassr, bolstered by central funding of €85 million, faces a firm “not for sale” stance from Liverpool regarding Diaz. This has prompted them to consider Martinelli, although Arsenal are hesitant to part with the “outstanding” Brazilian. However, sources suggest Arsenal could be persuaded to sell Martinelli to fund potential moves for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo or Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon.

Cristiano Ronaldo is now playing a large part of Al-Nassr’s recruitment strategy after being given equity in the club as part of his new contract.

The Saudi transfer window opened early this year, allowing Al-Hilal to register the signing of Al-Shabab striker Abderrazak Hamdallah on loan. Al-Nassr are also exploring options for a new striker, with West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus and Victor Boniface being considered after a failed attempt to sign Jhon Duran. Other potential targets for Saudi clubs include Aston Villa’s Amadou Onana and Leicester City’s Wilfried Ndidi.
