Adarsh also revealed that the unveiled glimpse will be a 3-minute clip, while a separate 7-minute “vision showreel” will offer a deeper look at the film’s planning and execution closer to its theatrical release in Diwali 2026. Filming of the first part is complete, with the second part scheduled to commence shooting in August.

Produced by Namit Malhotra, Founder and Global CEO of Prime Focus Studios, “Ramayana” is reportedly budgeted at a staggering ₹835 crore, exceeding the production costs of “Kalki 2898 AD” and “RRR.”

The film, set to release in two parts during Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027, aims to blend the classic narrative with cutting-edge visual effects by Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG.
