**Bengaluru, July 3, 2025** – A shop in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, was vandalized on Monday evening, June 30, 2025, allegedly by Kritika, the daughter of late retired DGP Om Prakash. The HSR Layout police have filed a non-cognizable report regarding the incident.
According to the complaint filed by the shopkeeper, Kritika entered the shop and, after being asked if she needed assistance, reportedly became aggressive and began damaging plastic bottles and cookie jars. The shopkeeper alleges that when he attempted to intervene, Kritika physically assaulted him before leaving the premises.
The incident was captured on the shop’s CCTV system, and passers-by alerted the police control room. By the time patrolling officers arrived, Kritika had returned to her home nearby.
Police sources indicate that Kritika is living alone following the murder of her father, Om Prakash. Her mother is reportedly incarcerated, and her brother resides elsewhere. The investigation is ongoing.
