**’The Boys’ Rides Off into the Sunset: Final Season Wraps Filming**

**LOS ANGELES, CA –** The fifth and final season of Amazon Prime Video’s hit superhero satire, “The Boys,” has officially wrapped filming. Series creator and showrunner Eric Kripke shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday, featuring a photo from the iconic Seven meeting room.

“That’s a wrap,” Kripke wrote, expressing gratitude for the cast, crew, and fans. “We have the best cast, the best crew, the most fun story to write, and something that is impossible to predict: the right timing. You wait your whole career to have maybe two of those things, if you’re lucky. We got all of them.”

The post was flooded with supportive comments from cast members, including Jack Quaid (Hughie Campbell), Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), and Erin Moriarty (Starlight), all expressing their appreciation for Kripke and the show.

Quaid, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, described the experience as “emotional” and “bittersweet.” He added that he is “really proud of what we’ve accomplished this season. I think it’s a great finale, which is a hard thing to do in TV.”

Kripke previously stated that he envisioned a five-season arc for the series. “I don’t know why I like the number five so much… It gives you enough time to get to know the characters,” he explained.

While the exact release date for season five remains unconfirmed, “The Boys” universe will continue to expand. The spin-off series “Gen V” premiered in 2023, and a prequel series, “Vought Rising,” focusing on Soldier Boy and Stormfront, is also in development.

Stay tuned for updates on the final season of “The Boys” and the future of the franchise on Amazon Prime Video.
