Chandrababu Naidu today inaugurated the state’s pioneering Digital Nerve Centre (DiNC) in Kuppam, marking a significant step towards digitizing and improving healthcare accessibility. The project, a collaboration between TATA MD and the Gates Foundation, promises to revolutionize health services across the region.

The DiNC aims to digitize personal medical records and connect 13 Primary Health Centers (PHCs), 92 Village Health Centers, and the Area Hospital in Kuppam. Officials say that through continuous health monitoring, the DiNC will offer timely diagnosis, appointments with medical specialists, personal counseling, and other vital health services.

“This Digital Nerve Centre will set a benchmark and be a gamechanger in the health sector,” said Chief Minister Naidu during the inauguration. He emphasized the potential of the facility to provide better healthcare and digitize the health history of the people in the state.

The government plans to expand the DiNC services to the entire Chittoor district in the second phase, eventually extending them state-wide. Virtual consultations, integration with the NTR Health Scheme, and access to private hospitals will be facilitated through the center.
