**Beach Boys Founder Brian Wilson’s Cause of Death Revealed**

**LOS ANGELES, CA –** Brian Wilson, the creative force behind the iconic Beach Boys, passed away on June 11th at the age of 82 due to respiratory arrest, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office listed respiratory arrest as the primary cause of death for the “Good Vibrations” singer. Sepsis and cystitis were listed as contributing factors. The report also cited chronic respiratory failure, chronic kidney disease, a neurodegenerative disorder, and obstructive sleep apnea. No autopsy was performed.

Wilson’s family announced his death earlier this month, expressing their heartbreak and requesting privacy during their time of grief.

Last year, Wilson was placed under a conservatorship following a dementia diagnosis and the death of his wife, Melinda. The decision was made by his family and doctors to ensure his continued care and well-being, with longtime family representatives LeeAnn Hard and Jean Sievers appointed as co-conservators.

Wilson was born in Inglewood, California, and founded The Beach Boys, alongside his brothers Carl and Dennis Wilson, cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine. The band, formed in 1961, rose to international fame with hits like “God Only Knows” and “Good Vibrations.” They have sold over 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
