**T Raja Singh Resigns from BJP, Cites Disappointment Over New State Leadership**

Hyderabad – Controversial Telangana leader T Raja Singh, known for his hardline Hindutva views and history of controversial remarks, has resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing deep disappointment over the reported selection of N Ramchander Rao as the new state party chief.

In a resignation letter addressed to Union Minister and state BJP chief G Kishan Reddy, the Goshamahal MLA expressed strong disapproval of the decision, claiming it has shocked and disillusioned many party workers and voters. He suggested that some individuals driven by personal interests were misleading the central leadership, undermining the sacrifices of grassroots workers and risking setbacks for the party.

Raja Singh emphasized that his resignation was not driven by personal ambition but rather by the concerns of loyal BJP supporters who feel “sidelined and unheard.” He believes the BJP had a prime opportunity to gain power in Telangana but fears this will be jeopardized by the impending leadership change.

N Ramchander Rao, a High Court lawyer and former member of the state Legislative Council, has previously held positions within the ABVP, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, and the BJP’s legal cell. Reports indicate his name has been cleared by the BJP’s central leadership, and he is expected to be unanimously elected as the new state chief.

Despite his resignation, Raja Singh affirmed his unwavering commitment to Hindutva ideology and serving the Hindu community. He said he would continue to raise his voice and stand with the Hindu community with even greater strength. He also appealed to senior leaders including Prime Minister Modi to reconsider the selection.

The resignation comes after G Kishan Reddy led the party through state polls and Lok Sabha elections. With Reddy’s reinduction into the Union Cabinet as Mines Minister, the need for a new state BJP chief has been evident.
