Mon Jun 30 13:23:45 UTC 2025: **Yadav Family Drama Deepens: Tej Pratap Meets Woman at Center of Family Feud, Ex-Wife Speaks Out**

**Patna, Bihar** – The Yadav family drama continues to unfold as Tej Pratap Yadav, son of prominent politician Lalu Prasad Yadav, met with Anushka Yadav on Wednesday. This comes after a photo of the pair went viral last month, leading to Tej Pratap’s expulsion from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and a severing of family ties by his father.

“We have family relations, so I have come here,” Tej Pratap stated after the nearly five-hour meeting, adding, “No one can stop me from going anywhere. I am in contact with everyone.”

The initial photo, posted then deleted from Tej Pratap’s Facebook account, claimed a 12-year relationship between him and Anushka Yadav. Tej Pratap later claimed his account was hacked, but the damage was done. Lalu Prasad swiftly responded by expelling his son from the RJD for six years, citing his “irresponsible behaviour.”

The situation escalated further with the emergence of additional photos of Tej Pratap and Anushka Yadav on social media, prompting a response from Tej Pratap’s estranged wife, Aishwarya Rai.

“Now everyone knows the truth,” a tearful Aishwarya Rai told the media. “I want to know if everyone knew about it, then why did he marry me? Why did he ruin my life?” She alleged that her in-laws knowingly arranged her marriage to Tej Pratap despite his long-term relationship with another woman. Tej Pratap and Aishwarya Rai, granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai, married in 2018 and filed for divorce within months. The divorce petition is still pending.

In the wake of his expulsion, Tej Pratap has claimed a conspiracy to drive a wedge between him and his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav, who is expected to lead the RJD in the upcoming Bihar assembly polls. Alluding to internal “traitors” as “Jaichand” from the Mahabharata, he has vowed to expose the alleged conspiracy.

Despite the turmoil, Tej Pratap offered words of support to his brother: “My brother, I would ask you to have faith that I am with you in all circumstances. My blessings were with you and will be so always. Please take care of Mummy and Papa, Jaichand is outside as well as within.”

Tej Pratap, a two-term MLA with brief stints in the state cabinet, made his political debut in the 2015 assembly polls. His expulsion comes months before the crucial Bihar assembly elections.
