**Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers Receives OBE, Celebrates with Star-Studded London Bash**

**LONDON, UK** – Stuart Vevers, the British creative director of American luxury brand Coach, was awarded an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace on Thursday. This marks a historical moment, making Vevers the first creative director of an American fashion house to receive the prestigious honor.

The OBE recognizes Vevers’ significant contributions to both the fashion industry and UK-US creative relations. The designer emphasized the importance of the fashion industry, stating, “Our industry brings people joy, there’s the beauty of craft, the wonderful people who work in our industry, and it feels like this recognizes that side of fashion that’s really meaningful for me.”

Following the investiture ceremony, Vevers celebrated the achievement with a lavish party at Two Temple Place, a stunning neo-Gothic mansion overlooking the Thames. Guests, including family, friends, and industry colleagues, enjoyed British snacks, spicy margaritas, and espresso martinis.

Coach CEO Todd Kahn introduced Vevers, congratulating him on the honor. Vevers then delivered an emotional speech, expressing his gratitude to his husband, Benjamin Seidler, and their two children, River and Vivienne, who he said teach him “how to wake up every day in an exciting new world where we can invent our own rules.”

The evening culminated in a surprise performance by Denise Pearson of the iconic 80s pop group Five Star, a dream come true for the self-proclaimed mega-fan Vevers. The party, described as having the celebratory feel of a wedding, continued late into the night with disco classics and revelry in the mansion’s gardens.

Vevers’ OBE solidifies his reputation not only as a talented designer but also as a respected figure in the fashion world.
