Spielberg, Austria – Lando Norris delivered a stunning performance in qualifying for the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix, securing pole position by a massive margin of over half a second. The McLaren driver topped the timesheets in Q1 and Q2 before unleashing a blistering lap of 1m 03.971s in Q3, leaving his rivals trailing.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc managed to secure second place, but was a distant 0.521s behind Norris. Norris’ teammate, Oscar Piastri, qualified third, but was hampered by a late yellow flag caused by Pierre Gasly’s spin.
