Sun Jun 29 03:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Elon Musk Reignites Feud with Trump, Slams Senate Bill as “Insane and Destructive”

**New York, NY** – Just weeks after seemingly burying the hatchet with President Trump, tech mogul Elon Musk has once again ignited their contentious relationship by fiercely criticizing the Senate’s latest draft bill aimed at implementing the president’s agenda.

In a Saturday morning post on X, Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, labeled the 940-page bill “utterly insane and destructive,” claiming it would “destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm” to the country.

The bill, like its House counterpart, proposes significant tax cuts, reductions in Medicaid and nutritional assistance, while increasing spending on the military and immigration enforcement. It also includes new measures intended to appease Republican holdouts, such as a fund for rural hospitals dependent on Medicaid. Republican leaders are pushing for a quick passage through both the Senate and the House, aiming for a final approval before President Trump’s July 4th deadline.

Musk’s scathing critique reignites a recent feud with the president that stemmed from the same legislation. He had previously argued the bill would drastically increase the national debt and undermine savings achieved by the Department of Government Efficiency, a cost-cutting project he spearheaded. He even went so far as to call the bill a “disgusting abomination” that would lead to national bankruptcy.

The previous dispute escalated into personal attacks, with Musk suggesting President Trump was named in documents related to Jeffrey Epstein and Trump accusing Musk of drug use related to his “crazy” behaviour.

While Musk had seemingly softened his stance after the initial spat, expressing regret for some of his online posts, his latest outburst suggests the truce was short-lived.

It remains to be seen what impact Musk’s renewed criticism will have on the bill’s passage and his relationship with the president. However, his vocal opposition to what Trump calls his “Big Beautiful Bill” indicates a significant fracture remains between the two influential figures.
