**”Kaanta Laga” Girl Shefali Jariwala Passes Away at 42; Sudden Death Under Investigation**
**Mumbai, India** – Actress and model Shefali Jariwala, best known for her iconic role in the “Kaanta Laga” music video and her participation in Bigg Boss 13, has died at the age of 42. Jariwala was pronounced dead at Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital in Andheri on Friday night after being rushed there by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and others.
While the official cause of death remains unconfirmed, police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her sudden passing. Initial reports suggest a possible cardiac arrest, but authorities are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination and forensic tests.
According to police sources, Jariwala had taken her usual medication on Friday night and also had an anti-aging injection she had been taking regularly for the past few years. “Prima facie, there is no foul play, and the doctors have reserved their opinion on the cause of death,” stated Dixit Gedam, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 9. An accidental death report has been registered, and police have questioned at least eight people, including her husband, domestic help, and building security.
Jariwala’s sudden death has shocked fans and the entertainment industry. Forensic experts have collected samples from her residence, including medicines and the injection, to aid in the investigation.
The final rites were held at the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai on Saturday. The investigation is ongoing.
