**Headline: Nagarjuna Donates Land for Lake Restoration After Convention Center Demolition**

**Hyderabad:** Following the demolition of his N Convention Center by the Hyderabad Disaster Management and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRA) due to encroachment on the Tammidikunta lake, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has voluntarily donated two acres of land to the government for lake restoration.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made the announcement during the inauguration of the PJR Flyover. He stated that Nagarjuna approached him after the demolition and offered the land to support the development of the lake.

“If we occupy lakes, ponds and canals where water should be, the water comes onto the city roads as it does not know where to go. We are trying to remove the constructions that have been unfairly occupied in the lakes through HYDRA,” Reddy said. “Recently, the government removed Akkineni Nagarjuna’s N Convention. After that, Nagarjuna Garu recognized this and voluntarily came forward and handed over 2 acres for the lake. Nagarjuna has come forward as a volunteer saying that he will be a hero in the development of the city. He has handed over two acres of land to the government with good intention to develop the lake.”

The HYDRA authorities demolished the N Convention Center in Madhapur after determining that it was built on encroached land within the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zone of the Tammidikunta lake. The demolition was part of a larger effort to remove unauthorized constructions that were hindering the natural flow of water.
