**Erode Man Arrested for Murdering Wife and Son, Staging Suicide**
**Erode, India – June 28, 2025** – Police in Erode have arrested a 33-year-old man, Kavin Prasad of Vellode, for allegedly murdering his 28-year-old wife, Amaravathi, and their one-and-a-half-year-old son, Aathiran. Prasad initially claimed his wife had killed their son before taking her own life.
Authorities were alerted to the alleged suicide on Friday. However, family members of the deceased raised suspicions of foul play and demanded a thorough investigation, refusing to accept the bodies.
