**’Hamilton’ Star Anthony Ramos Calls Out Madonna for Alleged iPad Use During Show**

NEW YORK, NY – “Hamilton” actor Anthony Ramos has reignited a years-old controversy surrounding Madonna’s behavior at a performance of the hit Broadway show. During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Ramos, who played Philip Hamilton, recounted his shock at seeing the pop icon seemingly engrossed in her iPad throughout the performance.

“The most terrifying was Madonna with her iPad in her face,” Ramos told host Andy Cohen, demonstrating the alleged behavior. “I was like, ‘If you not enjoying it that much, you know the door’s right there.'”

Ramos’s comments echo similar accounts from other “Hamilton” alums. Lin-Manuel Miranda, the show’s creator and star, famously tweeted after the performance, “Tonight was the first time I asked stage management NOT to allow a celebrity (who was texting all through Act 2) backstage. #noselfieforyou,” though he didn’t name Madonna at the time.

Jonathan Groff, who played King George III, confirmed the rumors, stating that Madonna was not invited backstage “because that b–ch was on her phone.” He added that the light from her phone was clearly visible from the stage.

While Madonna’s publicist previously denied the texting allegations, claiming she texted only after the show during a fundraising pitch and had made a generous donation, the controversy continues to resurface.

This isn’t the first time Madonna’s Broadway presence has sparked debate. Actress Patti LuPone has also publicly criticized Madonna’s acting abilities, particularly her portrayal of Eva Perón in the film “Evita,” calling it a “piece of s–t.”
