**NEW YORK, NY** – Major League Soccer announced its 26-player roster for the 2025 MLS All-Star Game presented by AT&T, set to take place on July 23 at Q2 Stadium, home of Austin FC. The team, selected through a combination of fan, coach, and commissioner picks, will face off against the best of LIGA MX in a highly anticipated showdown.
The roster boasts a mix of established stars and rising talents from across the league, representing 15 different MLS clubs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC lead the way with four selections, while expansion side San Diego FC has three players making the cut.
Notable inclusions include Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi, who aims to become the first player in MLS history to win back-to-back MVP awards, and Philadelphia Union’s leading goal scorer Baribo. Several players are earning their first All-Star nods, including Charlotte FC’s Agyemang, Columbus Crew’s Arfsten, and Austin FC goalkeeper Stuver.
“This is an exciting roster that showcases the depth of talent in MLS,” said MLS Commissioner Don Garber. “We’re looking forward to a competitive and entertaining match against LIGA MX in Austin.”
