**APPGECET 2025: Girls Outshine Boys with Stellar 94.50% Pass Rate**

**VIJAYAWADA, June 24, 2025** – The results for the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (APPGECET) 2025 have been released, revealing an impressive overall pass rate of 93.55%. A total of 11,244 candidates qualified out of the 12,019 who appeared for the examination.

Notably, female candidates demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving a pass rate of 94.50%, surpassing their male counterparts who secured a 92.58% pass rate. 5,753 of the 6,088 female candidates qualified, while 5,491 out of 5,931 male candidates cleared the exam.

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, conducted the APPGECET from June 6 to June 8, 2025, across 18 cities spanning 24 districts in Andhra Pradesh and also in Hyderabad. The examination covered 13 subjects in engineering and pharmacy.

“The examination was conducted smoothly, and we are pleased with the high pass percentage,” stated P. Mallikarjuna Rao, Convener of the exam.
