**New York, NY** – Costars Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey shared a quick kiss on the lips at the New York premiere of their new film, “Jurassic World Rebirth,” on Monday, June 23rd, causing a stir amongst attendees and online observers. This marks the second time the duo has shared a similar affectionate gesture, having also kissed at the World Premiere in London on June 17th.

Bailey, 37, addressed the kiss with Entertainment Tonight, stating, “I believe in being able to show love in all different ways. And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to.”

The “Bridgerton” star sported a casual yet stylish look, wearing a white scoop neck t-shirt, light gray cardigan, gray trousers, black leather loafers, and gold geometric sunglasses. Despite the attention surrounding the kisses, Bailey is openly gay and Johansson has been married to Jost for four years.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bailey discussed the pressure of co-headlining a major film as an openly gay actor. “There’s moments where, yes, you have to be excellent to prove that you can do it… Any sort of sense of prejudice against sexuality is something to fight against, and what better way to do that than to go and play any kind of character?” he said.

“Jurassic World Rebirth,” hitting theaters on July 2nd, is set five years after “Jurassic World Dominion.” Johansson plays Zora, a covert operations expert leading a mission to secure the genetic material of the world’s largest dinosaurs.
