**Trump Claims Ceasefire Holds After Tensions Flare Between Israel and Iran**

Washington D.C. – A precarious ceasefire between Israel and Iran remains in effect, according to former U.S. President Donald Trump, despite accusations of violations from both sides and heightened tensions that threatened to reignite the conflict.

Trump initially announced the ceasefire, intended to end a 12-day war, stating that Iran would initiate the halt in hostilities followed by Israel. However, shortly after the announcement, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz accused Iran of violating the agreement and ordered retaliatory strikes.

This prompted an irate response from Trump, who publicly urged Israel to cease its military actions. “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS…BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!” he posted on his Truth Social platform. He later told reporters that both Iran and Israel had violated the ceasefire.

Trump insisted that Israel would not attack Iran, declaring on Truth Social, “All planes will turn around and head home…Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!” He said he was “really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning” and that he needed “to get Israel to calm down.”

Iran, while not officially accepting the ceasefire plan, denied launching missiles at Israel after the announcement and claimed it had compelled Israel to halt its aggression.
