**Hyderabad, India -** Sekhar Kammula’s highly anticipated film “Kuberaa,” starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna, has made a strong debut at the box office, raking in impressive numbers in its first two days.
The multilingual film, released on Friday, June 21st, has already grossed ₹27.5 crore worldwide, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The film earned ₹10.92 crore on Saturday alone.
The film has performed well across different language versions. It has earned ₹10 crore in Telugu, ₹4.5 crore in Tamil, ₹2 lakh in Kannada, and ₹23 lakh in Hindi. Occupancy rates were high, with Chennai, Dindigul, Mumbai, Trichy and Vellore in Tamil version. Telugu occupancy rates were reported the highest in NCR, Mahbubnagar, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad.
“Kuberaa,” produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigos Creations, also features Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil in key roles.
The film has garnered praise from the industry, with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga predicting a “SUPERHIT” status. Mahesh Babu also shared his best wishes before the release, noting the film’s promising look.
Actress Sai Pallavi lauded the entire team on social media, praising Dhanush’s acting, Nagarjuna’s “killer character,” and Rashmika Mandanna’s role, while also highlighting Sekhar Kammula’s directorial talent.
With positive reviews and strong audience turnout, “Kuberaa” is poised for a successful run at the box office. Industry analysts are closely watching the film’s performance in the coming days to determine its long-term success.
