**Two Killed, Several Injured in Highway Crash Near Nellore**
**Nellore, India – June 21, 2025** – A tragic road accident on the National Highway near Racharlapadu in the Kodavaluru mandal of the SPSR Nellore district claimed the lives of two individuals and left several others injured on Friday. The incident occurred when a speeding car, carrying a family from Hyderabad en route to Tirupati, crashed into a tree while attempting to overtake another vehicle.
Police sources indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the fatal collision. Mastan Saheb, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene. Ayesha, a 10-year-old girl, succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital.
Four other family members sustained serious injuries, and three others received minor injuries. All injured individuals were transported to Nellore Government Hospital by the Highway Mobile Ambulance.
Local police have launched an investigation into the incident and registered a case.
