**New York Times’ “Connections” Word Game Captivates Puzzle Enthusiasts**

**NEW YORK, NY** – The New York Times has another hit on its hands with “Connections,” a word game that challenges players to find the common threads between seemingly disparate words. Following in the footsteps of the wildly popular Wordle, Connections resets daily, offering a fresh and increasingly challenging puzzle each day.

The game, credited to associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, is available on both web browsers and mobile devices. Players are presented with 16 words and tasked with grouping them into four categories of four words each. These categories can range from anything from book titles, software, to country names.

Gameplay is straightforward: select four words that share a common connection. Correct sets are removed from the board, but incorrect guesses count against a player’s limited four-mistake allowance. The game provides tools to rearrange the board for better visibility. The game is also color-coded with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Like Wordle, players can share their results on social media.

The Times has published hints to help players get started with the puzzle.
