Eric Trump, overseeing the Trump Organization, positioned Trump Mobile as a patriotic choice, emphasizing that the phones will be built in the U.S. and the service will maintain a domestic call center. The company plans to sell the “T1 Phone” for $499 starting in August, but it will not be designed or made by Trump Mobile.

This is not Trump’s first foray into telecommunications. He previously promoted a multi-level marketing company, ACN, which was later sued for fraud. The announcement has already drawn criticism, with concerns being raised about how federal regulators will treat existing cellular carriers that partner with Trump Mobile.
