Tue Jun 17 19:57:01 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Teachers’ Eligibility Test Kicks Off Amidst Security Measures
**Hyderabad -** The Telangana Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TGTET)-June 2025, commenced today, June 18th, 2025, across 66 centers in 15 districts of Telangana. The computer-based examination, spanning nine days and 16 sessions, is designed to certify teachers for classes 1-5 (Paper-1) and classes 6-8 (Paper-2).
A total of 183,653 applicants have registered for the TGTET, with a majority of 120,392 candidates opting for Paper-2. The tests are scheduled for two daily sessions, from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., and will conclude on June 30th.
E. Naveen Nicolas, Director of the School Education Department and Chairperson of TGTET, assured the public that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination. The department has also provided helpline numbers (7093958881, 7093468882, 7093708883, and 7093708884) for candidates requiring assistance.
To maintain order and prevent any disturbances, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty, has issued an order prohibiting the assembly of five or more persons within a 200-meter radius of the examination centers within the Cyberabad commissionerate limits. These restrictions are in effect from 6 a.m. today, June 18th, until 6 p.m. on June 30th.
