**MYSURU, June 17, 2025** – The results for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) selection exam for the 2024-25 academic year have been released, revealing that 292 students from the Mysuru district have been chosen to receive the prestigious award. The achievement is especially notable as the district was initially allotted only 274 seats under the Union government scheme.

The NMMS provides a yearly scholarship of ₹12,000 to selected students in classes 9 to 12, directly deposited into their bank accounts. This financial assistance aims to support meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds.
