**Nationwide** – This Sunday, June 15th, restaurants across the nation are rolling out special deals and discounts to celebrate Father’s Day. With an estimated 72 million fathers in the U.S., including 29 million grandfathers, families are eager to show their appreciation with a special meal.

Father’s Day became a national holiday in 1972 under President Richard Nixon, following the earlier establishment of Mother’s Day in 1914.
