The report, titled “Citizens’ Report Cards of Bengaluru’s Elected Representatives,” analyzed key performance metrics of MPs and MLAs, including attendance, questions raised in Parliament and Assembly, committee participation, and the utilization of Local Area Development (LAD) Funds.
The report highlights significant disparities in attendance records. P.C. Mohan, MP for Bengaluru Central, topped the list with a 98.51% attendance rate, while Tejaswi Surya, MP for Bengaluru South, fell below the national average with a 77.61% attendance. Among MLAs, N. Shreenivasaiah of Nelamangala boasted a perfect 100% attendance, while Priya Krishna of Govindraj Nagar had the lowest at 53.62%.
