**Oracle Shares Soar on Cloud and AI Boom, Revised Forecast Boosts Investor Confidence**

**New York, NY** – Oracle (ORCL) shares have skyrocketed over 20% this year, reaching a record high of $199.86 on Thursday, fueled by the company’s successful transformation into a cloud and AI infrastructure leader. While the stock dipped slightly to $197.58 in pre-market trading Friday, the overall trajectory remains strongly positive.

The surge follows Oracle’s revised annual revenue forecast, now projecting at least $67 billion for fiscal year 2026, representing a 16.7% year-on-year growth. The optimistic outlook spurred a 13% gain on Thursday, making Oracle the top performer on the S&P 500 for the day.

Driving this growth is Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) business, which saw revenue increase by an impressive 52% year-over-year to $3 billion. Oracle anticipates even faster OCI growth, exceeding 70% in fiscal 2026, driven by soaring demand from companies developing AI models and data-intensive applications.

Oracle’s standing in the AI arena received a significant boost with the announcement earlier this year of “Stargate,” a joint venture with OpenAI. This partnership aims to deliver large-scale computing capabilities, positioning Oracle as a key contender in the cloud-based AI infrastructure market, directly challenging industry giants like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

In its latest earnings report, Oracle announced overall revenue of $15.90 billion, surpassing Wall Street estimates of $15.59 billion. Cloud services revenue alone rose 14% to $11.70 billion.

Following the strong results, at least nine brokerages have raised their price targets for Oracle. Deutsche Bank and KeyBanc are among the firms expressing strong confidence in the stock’s continued upward momentum.

Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties and potential tariff implications from U.S. president Donald Trump, investor confidence in software and AI-related stocks remains strong, benefiting Oracle.
