Fri Jun 13 15:50:00 UTC 2025: **Raducanu and Boulter’s Doubles Run Ends at Queen’s, Kartal Falls to Anisimova**

**London, UK** – The British pairing of Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter saw their doubles journey at the Queen’s Club Championships come to an end on Wednesday, falling to the top-seeded duo of Erin Routliffe and Lyudmyla Kichenok 6-2, 7-5. Despite the loss, the British stars maintained a positive attitude, enjoying the experience of competing together.

The match, held on a smaller court despite significant public interest, saw Routliffe and Kichenok, both seasoned doubles players and US Open champions, capitalize on their experience. While Raducanu and Boulter put up a spirited fight in the second set, they were ultimately outmatched.

This was only Raducanu’s second ever doubles tournament, which may suggest that Raducanu is considering sharpening aspects of her game by playing doubles matches.

In other news from Queen’s, British No. 3 Sonay Kartal was defeated by Amanda Anisimova 6-1, 6-3. Despite her first-round victory over world No. 16 Daria Kasatkina, Kartal was unable to overcome the in-form American.

Raducanu will now focus on her singles campaign, facing Rebecca Sramkova on Thursday. Boulter is set to play Diana Shnaider.
